How to Join the ClubA membership application form, available from the Secretary, must be completed including the names and signatures of the proposer and seconder If the applicant is a member of another Golf Club then a handicap certificate is required together with a letter of introduction. An informal new members meeting is held at the Clubhouse on a regular basis when all aspects of membership are explained. Membership PeriodMembership renewal is annually on the 1st of January. Entrance FeeAn entrance fee of £250 is payable by new members over the age of 30. However, the Club does offer a deferred payment plan. In addition, for beginners who have not played golf before, the entrance fee is not payable until they become full members. Full details can be obtained from the Secretary. As from April 2008 the fees are on a pro rata basis. Contact the Secretary for details.
The above fees include an Annual Development Levy of £25 and National and County Subscriptions of £11.85 for Gentleman and £10.35 for Lady Members where applicable. Members qualify for Country membership if resident outside a radius of 25 miles from the clubhouse. *Beginners also pay a £10 green fee each time they play. To qualify as a Beginner a person must never have been a member of a golf club or held a handicap and in addition must have at least 2 lessons with the club professional before playing on the course.
